HYDERABAD: Now it is the turn of the Indian bureacrat to come under fire from former Chief Election Commissioner J M Lyngdoh. It may be mentioned that he had taken on the politicians while in office, which had created ripples in political circles.
He said: ''A bureaucrat would become a petty politician if he entered politics''.
Lyngdoh, who settled in the city after retirement was speaking at a meeting, got up to release a Telugu book 'Prajala Manifesto' authored by C Narasimha
Stating that he could not understand why his erstwhile colleagues aped politicians, he said ''most of them do not deserve the posts they are holding now.''
Continuing his tirade against political parties, he said that the present day political parties were didn't have any ideology and were conveniently following 'market ideology'.
Justice Chalameshwar of High Court reviewed the book.
