Who is superior than whom...? 

Father... or Mother...? 

By what way they are superior...? 

Some will admire their father. 

Some will admire their mother. 

Some will admire both...! 

Some will like 'motherly' father...! 

Some will like 'fatherly' mother...! 

It's NOT at all 
anyway connected with the so-called  'male-chauvinisms', or 'woman's liberations'. 

Both the father and the mother 
are 'having' entirely different roles 
- incomparable important roles 
on their children. 

It's unfair to 'generalize' 
any one of them as superior than other. 

So, 
a father is a father is a father is a father...!
