Do we accept
that we are NOT 'honoring' Him, as Jesus Christ mentioned?
Mathew
15: 7. "You
hypocrites! Isaiah was right when he prophesied about
you:
8. 'These people honor me with their lips, but their
hearts are far from me.
9. They
worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by
men.'"
(link to know the situation)
We used to
celebrate all the traditional festivals in a grand
manner.
We
used to 'greet' each other.
We
will be busy with the 'preparations' like, shopping to buy
new things, decorating the houses, arranging the parties,
planning to spend the holidays, making some amusements,
thinking
in a different way to avoid 'boring-celebrations', etc.,
etc,
only to honor Him.
By
the meantime,
if time & mood permits,
we used to praise the Lord
and also used to worship Him.
Then why the hell,
He says us as hypocrites?
Don't we honor Him?
Are our hearts far from Him?
Don't we worship Him?
Are our practices & teachings
created by us?
Do
we really honor Him?
Are our hearts really with Him?
Do we really worship Him?
Are our practices & teachings
as per His Teachings?
Let's 'think' by ourselves...!
But,
we are 'preparing' to celebrate the Christmas!
Do
we 'respect & honor' Jesus Christ with all our hearts...?
Do we have any rights to 'celebrate' His Birth Remembrance
Christmas...?
IF we
atleast TRY to follow or remember or 'realize' our
activities, then
only it'll be meaningful to 'celebrate'
the Christmas, The Birth Remembrance of Jesus Christ!
